"We needed a professional driver to help filming our documentary entitled "Taking the keys away" which was aired on BBC1 on 2 November 2010. It was important we used a reputable person and contacted the Road Safety Team at Leeds City Council who put us in touch with DSA Approved Driving Instructor, Damian Heaney.
Damian was asked to drive Eanswythe Hunter, one our elderly participants who featured in the documentary. Eanswythe had had her licence revoked following an assessment in Leeds. Damian drove Eanswythe around the area where the driving part of the assessment had taken place whilst she recounted her story.
Damian was very polite and courteous, particularly with Eanswythe and ensured she was comfortable and safe 
throughout the session."

" Overall the lessons were brilliant, Damian was very motivational in the sense that if you did anything wrong he would help you to realise what you had done wrong and explain how to correct them. The lessons were always enjoyable because it wasn't just teaching all the time, he allowed for you to make errors on your own in order to learn appropriately and he didn't make a big deal out of the mistakes. I felt comfortable within my lessons and wasn't worried about asking questions to which he always could answer and show pictures in order to back up what he was saying, he could always have a good laugh with you, which i think is important as too much seriousness can become boring! "

He teaches you at a level beyond what is expected so you can the best driver you can be and more. His lessons are full of useful information and theyre fun.
